Toronto Green Standard Consulting
We manage the administration of Toronto Green Standard projects for Tiers 1 to 4, and offer support for the design team with the Site Plan Application as it relates to TGS requirements. Our services include working with the design team to develop the Design Developement Stage Energy Report (TGS Model) to determine the projects EUI and TEDI.

The WELL™ Building Standard addresses ten concepts that impact and influence human behaviors related to health and well-being. Energy Modelling
Energy modelling uses a computer simulation to predict the amount of energy that a building’s systems will consume. Our team not only performs the energy modelling on a project, but will also suggest cost-effective, energy efficient measures to improve the building and cut costs.
Building Life Cycle and Embodied Carbon Analysis
Our LCA experts work in collaboration with Athena Sustainable Materials Institute and One Click LCA, utilizing their highly specialized software and LCA data tools. These programs are specifically designed in tune with all the latest North American building codes and standards to help identify the embodied carbon of buildings.
SB-10
In 2012, the Ontario Building Code (OBC) was updated and standards for energy efficiency were made increasingly stringent in order to bring Ontario to the forefront of sustainable design. It is beneficial for developers to follow the performance path for SB-10 compliance, as energy modelling allows for more design freedom and can ultimately lower construction costs. INVIRO offers whole building energy modelling services to building owners seeking sustainable, sophisticated, and code-compliant designs.
Thermographic Analysis
Infrared thermography can be used to identify envelope and roof system deficiencies. Inspections with infrared cameras quickly indicate insulation problems. Our team of thermography professionals identify faults and identify solutions that can rectify these faults, to increase energy efficiency of a building.
Commissioning
Our team of Commissioning Agents will work with builders and building owners to ensure proper set-up and functioning of the systems installed. Our participation is not complete until everyone is confident of a comfortable, trouble-free occupancy.
